Will there be surfboard rentals?
Yes, we will have a great selection of boards to rent, soft top and performance surfboards. You can also bring your own board. We also expect to do different demo days.
Do young children need to be added to my membership?
Yes, even though children 0 – 4 years of age are free with a membership, all children will need to be added to your membership for access to Revel Surf.
What waves do you recommend?
For the surf lagoon, level 1 waves are whitewater, learn to surf. These are great waves for the beginning surfer or young children who are grasping the sport of surfing. Level 2 waves are ideal for riders looking for fun – open faced, moderately sized waves. Great for riding longboards, fishes and young tweens/teens as they progress in surfing ability. Level 3 waves are waves of consequence and are for those with more advanced skills.
How are the waves set up?
You are in the water your entire session. The surf break is a “Peak” wave with rights and lefts. You will surf both in your session. If you want to find someone who doesn’t want to switch sides in the session, you’re welcome to work that out on your own.
Is there a membership “freeze” available?
You may freeze your membership on a monthly basis if you have a verified injury with a physician’s note. Keep in mind a freeze places all surf and beach access on hold for all members on your plan.
